From the CEO
A knife had been lying in my study room, which is also my streaming room, for days. I had brought it there to cut a fruit while I was working. Once I was done, I left it there. And there it stayed...for days! It was doing nothing. No one picked it up. No one needed it.
I wondered: if the knife had a life, what would it have thought? Perhaps, “I am utterly useless. No one wants me. I have nothing to do.” One fine day, I simply picked it up and put it back in the kitchen. And right from that day, it was in demand again. It was being used. It was doing its thing. Nothing about the knife had changed. It hadn’t become sharper or learnt a new skill. It had simply moved to a place where it could do its job.
Sometimes, we might feel a little like that knife. Where we are right now may not feel very fulfilling. We may begin to think that we have nothing useful to offer.
But is that really true? Or are we in an environment where what we have to offer isn’t being used? The knife was never useless. It was extremely useful. In the study room, it just couldn’t do its job. - Sagar Shah
